Cancellations and refunds
Última actualización: September 29, 2026
Changed your mind after buying Memora? You can cancel. Here's the window, how to ask, and what you get back.
The window
You have five business days from the day you paid to cancel, no reason needed. This comes from Uruguay's Consumer Protection Law 17.250 (Article 16), which covers purchases made online.
What you get back
- If you haven't used it yet, you get a full refund of US$69 for Memora All-inclusive or US$10 for Door check-in only. "Not used" means none of your guests has replied to the invitation and no one has been checked in at the door.
- If you've already used it, there's no refund. Under the law, once a service has started you pay for the part that was delivered. With Memora, your event's service is delivered once your guests have received and answered the invitation, or once check-in has run at the door.
How to ask
Email us at hola@memora.events from the address you used to buy and tell us you'd like to cancel. We'll reply to confirm we got it.
How the refund works
We refund the same payment method you used as soon as we confirm your request. How long it takes to show up on your card or account depends on your bank. If you paid in card installments, you can also ask your card issuer to cancel the remaining ones.
What happens to your event
Once the refund goes through, the event is closed. Your invitation stops opening and door check-in stops working.
