Terms of Service

These are the terms for buying and using Memora. By buying, you agree to them. We wrote them so you don't need a lawyer to follow along. If anything is unclear, just email us.

Who we are

Memora (memora.events) is a service by Vortex Labs, based in Uruguay. For any question or complaint, email us at hola@memora.events.

What you're buying

Memora sells two products, each for one event:

• Memora All-inclusive (US$69). Your digital invitation in the design you picked, live RSVPs from your guests, seating plans, door check-in on the day, and the guest book.
• Door check-in only (US$10). Just the check-in at the door, with your guest list.

It's a one-time payment per event, in US dollars, with no subscription. If you pay in another currency, the payment provider converts it at checkout.

Payment

Payments are processed by dLocal. Memora never sees or stores your card details. Your service is ready the moment your payment clears.

Your account

Buying creates your account with your email and a password. Keep your password safe, because anything done from your account is treated as done by you. If you think someone else got in, let us know.

What you upload

You add your invitation's content (text, photos, music) and your guests' details. Please only upload what you have the right to use, and make sure your guests know you're using their details to plan the event. That content stays yours, and we only use it to run the service.

Memora can't be used to send unsolicited advertising or to post illegal or offensive content. If that happens, we may take the content down.

Your guests

Your guests don't need an account. They open the invitation with the link you send them. Anyone with that link can see the invitation, so only share it with the people you're inviting.

Cancellations and refunds

You have five business days from payment to cancel. If you haven't used the service yet, you get a full refund. The details are in ourcancellation and refund policy.

How long your event stays available

Your guests can open the invitation for up to 7 days after the event. You keep your event in your dashboard, with the guest book, the photos and the guest list, for 12 months after the event date. After that, we delete the event and your guests' details.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post it on this page with a new date. Changes don't affect a purchase you've already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay, including Consumer Protection Law 17.250.
